"In silico"

From Wikipedia
If the target host* of a phage therapy treatment is not an animal the term "biocontrol" (as in phage-mediated biocontrol of bacteria) is usually employed, rather than "phage therapy".

In silico
From:"Genomics,Proteomics and Clinical Bacteriology",N.Woodford and Alan P.Johnson

Phrase that emphasizes the fact that many molecular biologists spend increasing amounts of their time in front of a computer screen, generating hypotheses that can subsequently be tested and (hopefully) confirmed in the laboratory.

Phage Therapy is influenced by:

Phage therapy is influenced by:

Country : the epidemiological situation is different from country to country in terms of circulating bacteria and bacteriophages. Example: lytic phages from Italy may be no active on the same bacteria (genus and species) isolated from another country and vice versa.
Temporariness
Mutation rate
Phenotypical delay

How to find Walker A motif and Walker B motif in the proteins

From this scientific work:

"The Mycobacteriophage D29 Gene 65 Encodes an Early-Expressed Protein That Functions as a Structure-Specific Nuclease"

From Wikipedia:
Walker motif A

Walker motif A is a motif in proteins having the pattern :

GXXXXGK(T/S)
G-X-X-G-X-G-K-T/S

each character X in the sequence is a one-letter abbreviation representing a particular amino acid. The motif is distributed among proteins of widely varying function, but is best known for its presence in nucleotide-binding proteins.

Walker motif B

Walker motif B is a motif in proteins having the pattern:

(R/K)XXXGXXXL/VhhhhD
R/K-X(7-8)-h(4)-D

where each character in the sequence is a one-letter abbreviation representing a particular amino acid. In that sequence, 'X' represents any of the 20 standard amino acids and 'h' represents any hydrophobic residue. The motif is particularly well conserved among proteins involved in homologous recombination.

By Jalview software(open source) or by ClustalX2(open source)

1) paste the fasta protein sequence
2) give free rein to one's imagination and paste the Walker sequences

This is the example with D29p65 protein:
